Filetypes

Home Page | Download | Register

You may input file extensions for downloading (pictures, flash, compressed files, movies etc.).

By default the first category is selected (Internet Pictures). It is possible to create, edit and delete categories in the "Filetypes" tab in the Options Dialog.

You may also input your own file extensions for the current task only (in the field "Additional file extensions").

If in URL, which points to media files, there is no special extension (e.g. URL point to HTML pages looks as follows http://www.site.com/gallery.php, but URL point to pictures will be http://www.site.com/image.php) you actions:

1. For pictures (and other media files) it is usually detected that it is a media file already in the process of downloading. But in this case URL filters may not work proper (because before downloading file types are unknown). If you use them look through paragraph 3.

2. You can input additional file types (if they are known to you) in the field "Additional content types". More information about content types (MIME).

3. You can input substrings of URL, which point to media files. In the above given example it will be image.php.
