Add items

Album Web allows the user to add a single item or a folder with items. Items can be photos or video.

 

1. How to add a single item

 

When you created a new album or chapter, you need to add photos and video to it. To do so, use the Add items button on the Chapter contents bar.

To add a photo:

 

1. Open the Add items menu on the toolbar.

2. Select Add items.

3. Browse to the folder with the desired file.

4. Select the photo (or several photos).

5. Click Open.

 

The photo appears in the Chapter contents window of the program.

Now you need to enter properties of the photo. You can do it in the Properties dialog in the right area of the main window. In this dialog, the user can specify the name of the photo, description, keywords, notes, author, set the rating and slideshow properties (if necessary).

 

6. In the Properties dialog, enter the properties into the fields.

There is an alternative way to edit Name and Description properties. The user needs to switch the Chapter contents window to the Titles mode and change Name and Description by clicking on the fields of the properties, or pressing F2 to start editing.

 

7. Click the Save album icon on the main toolbar.

 

 

 

2. How to add a folder with photos

 

In addition to single items, the user can add entire folders with photos or video clips.

To add a folder with images:

 

1. Open the Add items menu on the toolbar.

2. Select Add items from folder.

3. Browse to the folder with photos.

4. Select the folder.

5. Click Open.

 

The photos appear in the Chapter contents window of the program.

Now you need to enter properties of the photos. You can do it in the Properties dialog in the right area of the main window. In this dialog, you can specify the name of each photo, description, keywords, notes, author, set the rating and slideshow properties (if necessary).

 

6. Select a photo.

7. In the Properties dialog, enter the properties into the fields.

 

Repeat this process until the properties of every single photo are entered.

 

8. Click the Save album icon on the main toolbar.
