Album Web allows the user to create a new album in several different ways.
1. Create an album from the selected theme
When the user runs Album Web, it opens into the Home page that has two windows: Collections and Collection items. This is where you can create a new album. In the Collection items window, the user can see themes that can be used to create an album.
To create a new album:
1. Run Album Web.
2. In the Collection item window, click the right mouse button.
To create a new album:
1. Run Album Web.
2. In the Collection item window, click the right mouse button on the theme you like.
This opens the context menu that has the Create album item on top.
3. Click the Create album item to create a new album.
This opens the new album in the Album editor mode.
4. Enter album properties in the Properties dialog.
The Properties dialog allows you to enter the name of the album, description, keywords, notes, author and rating.
Now you can add chapters and media, both photos and video (See: Add items).
2. Create an album from the main toolbar
To create a new album:
1. Run Album Web.
2. On the toolbar, click Create Album icon.
This opens a new album in the Album Editor mode.
3. Enter album properties in the Properties dialog.
The Properties dialog allows you to enter the name of the album, description, keywords, notes, author and rating.
Now the user can add items, sort, select, rotate items and save an album.
3. Create an album from the Album menu
Alternatively, a new album can be created from the Album menu.
To create an album:
1. Run Album Web.
2. On the top toolbar, click Album.
3. On the drop-down menu, select New.
Again, this opens a new album in the Album Editor mode.
4. Enter album properties in the Properties dialog.
The Properties dialog allows you to enter the name of the album, description, keywords, notes, author and rating.
Now you can add chapters and media, both photos and video (See: Add items).
4. Create an album with a hotkey
Finally, there is the fourth method to make a new album. The user can press CTRL+N on the keyboard.
To create an album:
1. Run Album Web.
2. Press CTRL+N.
This opens the new album in the Album editor mode.
3. Enter album properties in the Properties dialog.
Now you can add chapters and media, both photos and video (See: Add items).
